I suppose, for the price, the Beckham Grill and Crown Bar is ok. However, I expected more and was dissapointed. I had been advised that they were known for their prime rib so that is what I ordered. The meat was not tough but it was not that tender either. It did not have much marbling and only a fair amount of flavor. The salad, Yorkshire Pudding and creamed corn were just average. I was unable to order a baked potato because they do not serve them. My wife had a seafood dish that she said was fairly good but not special. Everthing, however, is relative. When I got the check and found that we spent less for the two of us than we normally spend for one, my opinion of the restaurant improved (we have been to restaurants that charge two to several times as much with poorer quality food and / or poorer quality service). I will say that the place was fairly quiet, the lighting was not overdone and the service was good (sometimes good service can make up for a lot). In my opinion, this is not the place to take someone for that special occasion but it is a place to obtain a decent meal at a decent price and have a decent time. We will probably try this place again.

We eat at this establishment two or three times a year. The fare has always been very good, the service is above average and the atmosphere is very relaxing. For this category of restaurant the cost seems very reasonable. We will keep coming back.

Beckham Grill is a good place to go when you don't have time to wait for a reservation for a nicer prime rib restaurant. The food is decent, the ambience is cozy, and the service is fair. Beckham Grill offers several cuts of rib and it is served with creamed spinach and creamed corn, both of which again, are decent. Last time I was there, I sat near the fireplace and enjoyed a quiet, romantic meal with my girlfriend. If the service were better and if it wasn't so noisy there, I might dine there more often. My main gripe is that even when the place isn't packed, the service is still slow. Especially at the fireplace, they seemed to have forgotten about us and we had to, at one point, go to the bar to order our own drinks. Again, it is decent enough to dine there when you are not able to get a reservation at a nicer place.
