We recently celebrated my brother’s birthday at Cameron’s Seafood specifically for their Sunday Brunch. Cameron’s has a nice casual atmosphere, chock full of old black and white pictures of fishermen, antique signs and mounted fish. I had never had the brunch but had been on there on several occasions specifically for their clam chowder, which is outstanding. I was anxiously anticipating their brunch.

When we arrived, we were immediately seated and our table for 20 was ready and waiting for us. We were assigned two servers, one for champagne and miscellaneous requests and the other for food orders. Cameron’s has a unique way of doing their brunch buffet. They have a small table of breakfast food (eggs, sausages and bacon) and a choice of either crab legs or oysters. Not much of a selection and what was worse is they didn’t serve their clam chowder! I had imagined a huge selection of seafood but found a less than average, typical breakfast fare. The crab was good but how much crab do you really want to eat in one sitting? After one heaped plate, it kind of loses its appeal. Their saving grace that was that in addition to the buffet, you also are allowed to order an item from their special brunch menu, which entails primarily omelets. I ordered the lobster omelet and it was good, but nothing to write home about.

The service was pleasant and our champagne glasses were never empty. In summation, the food was good but the selection wasn’t. I don’t recommend the brunch – not a lot of bang for your buck.

I first went to Camerons when I was in my teens. I loved the clam chowder at that time and still do. I recently gave their Sunday brunch a try and was disappointed. Not because the food wasn't good, it was delicious, but because the selection was very limited. For the price I expected much more variety. The service was good and the servers were friendly. My champagne glass was never even half empty, the server definitely kept on top of that. They have a fish market adjoining the restaurant and the fish is very fresh although a bit pricey. If Cameron's can come up with a stronger buffet, I'd definitely frequent there on Sundays.

This restaurant carries a wide variety of good tasty seafood at decent prices. The service is a little slow but that's probably because the place is always so busy. If you like seafood but don't want to spend a fortune you should try Cameron's.

This restaurant is too crowded, the service is slow, the food servers seem harried and the prices are too high for what you get. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it at best a four.

We eat here a couple of times a month. The seafood is good and the fish does not have that too fishy taste. We're not in a rush and like to take our time so the service is fine as far as we are concerned and the staff are very friendly. We feel that the prices are very reasonable.
