The theme here is Hawaiian and surfing. The food is served quickly by attentive servers. The menu is simple, appetizers, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish tacos and salads. All of their food is excellent and great prices. My favorite, the Hawaiian burger: A cheeseburger with teriyaki sauce and a pineapple slice. Everyone should order the fries. You only need one order to feed your table of four. And the 'all you can drink' soda or tea or lemonade is a great way to wash down your meal. They also have a bar with televisions showing sporting events where you can also eat your meal with a beer or one of their famous frozen drinks.

I don't come here for the food, it's ok but not special, although their burgers are pretty good, especially their Hawaiian Burger. My friends and I eat here because of the atmosphere. Everybody, staff and customers alike, is friendly and we have a good time here. We take our time, talk and have a few laughs without feeling pressured to leave.

Islands is a great family restaurant. The décor is fun and tropical, even the servers wear Hawaiian shirts and shorts year around. There are televisions posted around the restaurant featuring different sports like surfing and skiing. My son loves of the wooden toucans that hang down from the ceiling.

The menu is comprised of appetizers, burgers (turkey or beef), chicken sandwiches and salads. Their cheese fries are really good and even better if you add the chili. Beware... this appetizer is a meal in itself. You may not have much of an appetite for your meal by the time you put a dent in the fries! The Hawaiian Burger is one of my favorites, served with a generous amount of teriyaki sauce and pineapple slices. The prices are very reasonable, with the average menu item being about $7.00. For the grown-ups, their drink menu is as tropical as the décor.

They are also well equipped for the little ones. When being seated, children are given a pack of crayons and a coloring menu. If you have small children, the décor is a nice distraction and is good for about 15 minutes of entertainment. After that, you’re on your own! Their children’s menu is good and very reasonable. I don’t remember a single meal being over $3.50. All of the children’s drinks come in a plastic cup WITH A LID that they can take home.

There is usually a wait to get in, especially during peak hours and weekends but you won’t find a better restaurant to take your family for a fun and inexpensive meal.
