Oh yeah. Talk about some truly authentic Mexican food! If you've
been to Mexico, then you know what I'm talking about. This chain of restaurants is
reminiscent of the typical taco stands you find on every corner in Mexico. Great quality,
tasty food. They server not only tacos of every type of meat but also nachos, burritos,
sopes, tamales, tacquitos and if you are lucky enough to live around a few of the larger King
Taco Restauarants you cna even eat posole, menudo and several other fine Mexican cuisine.
Many even serve rotisserie chicken with rice and beans.
This is a clean well lit fast food mexican restaurant. While the food is not quite as good as at the Cypress Park and East Los Angeles stores, it is better than that served at most of the "mexican restaurants" in Pasadena. Try their sopes or their burrito de lengua. If you like soup try their cosido. All of their carne asada items are good, if fact, almost anything you order is good. Nothing is too spicy or too bland. Everything is made while you wait. We order take out from this store at least twice a month.
King Taco is one of my favorite spots to get authentic Mexican food, even though it would be considered a fast food restaurant. The menu is simple and the prices very reasonable. The lines are always long, even late at night but move quickly. If that’s not an affirmation of how good it is, I don’t know what is.
