The Adult Psychiatric Program is designed to provide rapid stabilization in a carefully structured, safe, medically appropriate environment. The goal of Las Encinas Hospital is to establish appropriate support and tools within a full range of services, providing behaviorally defined therapeutic goals and programming that encompasses behavioral health services.

The Chemical Dependency Program offers medical care and drug-free treatment through Detoxification Treatment, followed up by the Rehabilitation and Residential Programs. Furthermore, patients can continue their drug treatment through the Outpatient Programs. Patients can live in their own homes and continue their treatment in the daytime (Partial Hospitalization or Intensive Outpatient) or evening hours (Intensive Outpatient).

The Villas is a chemical dependency residential program designed to assist people who have already detoxed, but still require long term care. The Villas provide the comforts of home within the context of a chemical dependency program. The program is licensed by the State of California (190429AP) and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
