The seafood is not bad but not great either. The service is slow and indifferent. The oysters were the best thing served here, very good. I do enjoy happy hour.

I enjoy coming here for their happy hour. The appetizers are very good yet inexpensive.
McCormick and Schmick's cater to the seafood lovers. Their seafood is always fresh daily and
they have a huge variety of shellfish also. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere
inside but my wife and I enjoy sitting outside sipping on a cool drink while enjoying there
tasty appetizers. I love their cajun fish tacos and all of their appetizers are $1.95 during
happy hour.

I like this restaurant. We have always recieved good service, maybe because we are not in any hurry. The fish does not have that fishy odor and can be ordered simply, without all the sauces. Good variety of seafood and their beef is pretty good for a seafood restaurant. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing and the prices are more than fair.

My wife and went a few weeks ago. Previous experiences at the downtown L.A. location were good, but this trip in Pasadena was sub-par. I ordered the sea bass, but got what I swear was swordfish or some other meaty fish. The service was iffy too. Even though it was a weeknight and very empty, our server was slow, unenthusiastic, sometimes even cold. Probably won't return unless proded by others.

Lovely restaurant, decent but overpriced food and alright to poor service. The best thing here are the appetizers. Not worth the money.

The only reason I go to McCormick & Schmicks is for the happy hour. Food at that time is dirt cheap for what can amount to a good sized meal. $2 for the burger and fries is by far the best value. Calamari at around $5 is also a great value. Gets busy at that time, though, so arrive as early as you can.

Did the Sunday brunch in Pasadena, California. Anticipated some sort of grand buffet, but it ended up being a boring menu with breakfast items such as egg dishes and pancakes. There was a lunch section also offered with some seafood too. Had to ask the server if they had any steaks and chops because there weren't any on the menu, after a while he returned and said that they had a couple of cuts that could be prepared. All in all the experience was alright, dad liked the clams, the omletts looked good, and the steaks were alright. The best thing about the brunch were the bakery items and fresh fruit given prior to the meal and the desert that came afterwards. There was something that was going on at this location on this particular Sunday morning that is hard to describe, but it began with the room temperature being deathly cold.

Terrible service, very, very slow, poorly prepared food, I was not impressed at all. If you have to eat at McCormick & Schmicks go to the one in downtown Los Angeles.

Excellent food, agreeable to a table of twelve. The service could use some improvement, but the ambience and drinks were excellent. Crowd was varied, included singles, groups, couples and families. Highly recommended.
