I've been going to Sizzler since I was a child. I always loved the salad bar and the Malibu chicken with that sauce they put on it. The older I get though the less I go. The quality of the food is sub par, especially the steaks that they so highly advertise. They often have an all you can eat breaded shrimp deal. The shrimp are small bay shrimp with heavy breading. Boo. I guess this place is a good restaurant to take the kids too but the food just isn't anything special.
This Sizzler is no better than any of the other Sizzlers that I have tried "dinning" at. My steak was tough, dry and tasted like cardboard. the shrimp were like rubber, the baked potato was old and seemed as if it had been reheated several times and the thousand island salad dressing tasted like it was going bad. The service was normal for a Sizzler (poor). Needless to say we left without finishing our meals. We have now tried five different Sizzlers and they were all the same, not worth the time. We will not be trying any more of them. The only good thing I can say about Sizzler is that their prices are cheap.
I eat at this and other Sizzler restaurants. You get what you pay for. The food might not be the best but it is plentiful, varied and inexpensive. The service is not great but it is ok. Neither I nor my wife like to cook so we eat out a lot but can not afford to spend $50.00 to $100.00 per person. We eat where we can afford to eat, and we feel that we get a good deal for our money here.
